History

Founded in 2004 by visionary entrepreneur Mr. E. T. Rajan, S & S Industries began its journey with a clear mission: to design and manufacture high-quality, value-for-money testing equipment for the pigment, ink, and paint industries. With a deep understanding of laboratory needs and a passion for precision engineering, Mr. Rajan introduced a range of specialized instruments including the Vibro Super Shaker, Muller, Twin Roll Mill, Hydraulic Press, Auto Film Applicator, Lab Bead Mill, and Lab Stirrer—each tailored to meet the evolving demands of R&D labs.

Driven by a commitment to performance and reliability, the company steadily expanded its portfolio. Over the years, it introduced SS Tanks, High Speed Dispersers, Production Bead Mills, and Performance Bead Mills for Nano Dispersion, along with customized solutions for ink, paint, and agrochemical applications. Mr. Rajan’s philosophy was simple yet powerful: “Every equipment should be manufactured as if it’s the first and best we’ve ever built.”

In 2014, under Mr. Rajan’s mentorship, Mr. Sijo Thomas joined the company, bringing fresh energy and a forward-thinking approach to product development. Together, they ventured into PLC-based automation, offering smart, customizable equipment that met the growing demand for precision and efficiency. A hallmark of S & S Industries’ customer-centric ethos is its 48–72 hour service response time, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum satisfaction.

Following the passing of Mr. Rajan in 2022, Mr. Sijo Thomas took the helm, continuing the legacy with unwavering dedication. Under his leadership, the company has maintained year-on-year growth, expanded its product line, and reinforced its reputation for excellence.
